US President US President Donald Trump stated that farmers in South Africa are mistreated and said, “South Africa treats long-term farmers in the country horribly. They are confiscating their land and farms and it is much worse than that. It’s a bad place to be right now and we’re stopping all federal funding,” he said.
In a statement from his own social media platform Truth Social, Trump said that “All farmers who want to flee South Africa for security reasons will be invited to the United States with their families through a fast citizenship process. This process will begin immediately.”
